Broadlane Member's Savings Average 20%

Historically, when Triium did a cost analysis for a prospective member, we would be able to show a significant cost savings of 15-20% for their medical supplies, office supplies, radiology products and printing.  Triium recently analyzed the medical supply spending of 47 member facilities and found that members could save an average of an additional 20.1% from their medical supply distributor by using contracts through our Broadlane relationship.

The analysis involved matching members' products with those on the Broadlane contract.  When there was an exact product match, the results showed an average savings of 19.1%, while other products were cross-matched to similar products and showed an average savings of 22.4%.  The analysis covered a spectrum of product groups including medical supplies, lab supplies, surgical items, equipment and catheter lab-radiology supplies.
